I am honoured to be embarking on an incredible journey with
Global Relief Trust (GRT) to the beautiful country of Uganda, where I will be
supporting the launch of GRT’s CODE RED (Period Poverty Project) which aims to
empower and support local communities both nationally (UK) and internationally.
As the Mental Health and Women’s Ambassador for the charity,
I am passionate about advocating for women’s well-being, dignity, and access to
essential resources.
Millions worldwide face immense challenges due to the lack
of menstrual products, education, and hygiene facilities, which affects their
health, confidence, and opportunities.
This project aims to provide sustainable solutions,
including access to sanitary products, education on menstrual health, and
breaking the stigma surrounding periods.
Your support will directly contribute to empowering young
girls, women and communities in ensuring they can continue their education and
lead healthier lives.
As a Muslim, our faith teaches us the importance of charity,
uplifting communities, and standing for justice.
Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of
countless women, girls and communities.
