﷽
The reality has been broadcasted, directly from those who
live through this reality, to our screens daily. For many, it has been a wakeup
call to educate and understand these conflicts and for others, it has meant to
practice gratitude. Overall, we have somewhat felt a sense of responsibility to
find the solution and fix the damage left behind.
Last Ramadan I personally went on a deployment, as part of GRT's
first women's deployment. I had the privilege to meet the people, listen to their stories, their dreams and their wishes. I also had the
opportunity to understand and learn about the multiple projects that GRT
currently has running, from feeding communities, to setting up specialist
health centres, supporting women earn a living, sanitation and housing. All of
which has been made possible THANKS TO MY AMAZING NETWORK & COMMUNITY as I
raised just under £13,000.
I pray your efforts have been accepted and your generosity
is rewarded. I cannot THANK YOU enough for taking responsibility for making
wishes and dreams come true.
Unfortunately, some dreams are yet to be made and therefore,
the work continues as GRT aims to restore livelihood and normality to the
people .
God willing, I will be returning (something I
truly imagined I would live to see in my lifetime) to understand how existing
projects are progressing, the complexities due to the pre-existing regime and
what we can do collectively to heal the world.
I Once again, I THANK YOU immensely for your support and
generosity, please continue to support us as none of this is possible without
YOU.
