Shaam is Where The Heart Is.. 

A group borne out of the first GRT women's deployment to Syria in Ramadan 2024.

Lead by Aysha, Nayeema and Zahra, who dedicate their spare time in making mouth-watering food to sell to their local communities, as home comforts for you and your families to enjoy. 

We are working with GRT on two of their projects. Their Physiotherapy centre in Atmah and their latest Sheltering Syria, to raise money for a housing project. 

Each time you buy a dish from us, 100% of the profit from your purchase is donated to these projects. 

SHELTER PROJECT

GRT are building 228 homes in the Jisr- Ash- Shugur area in Syria, which is approximately 35KM from the Turkish border. 

InShaaAllah this will house up to 228 families. One family typically consists of 5 members.

The village will be named Sa’ada Village and will house the most vulnerable families who are currently living in extremely dire conditions following their displacement as a result of the war.

PHYSIOTHERAPHY CENTRE

GRT set up their first centre over 3 years ago in Atmah. Currently we have 3600 patients but this most likely will increase by the end of the year. The centre provides services for the young and old, from Neurological injuries to post-surgical rehabilitation. 

When we visited the centre the one that stood out was Paediatric problems: such as cerebral palsy and developmental delays. 

A valuable service for all service users.
