Whether it's persecution, oppression, economic inequality,
societal divisions, political polarisations, I think we can all agree that the
World can feel 'broken' at times... but despite this, the last 12 months in
particular, have shown me that there is so much support, kindness &
generosity within my community.
As many of you know, last Ramadan, I had the absolute privilege
of joining GRT's first women's deployment to Syria, to see first-hand the
amazing work that is being undertaken... from housing projects, to a
physiotherapy centre, orphanages, schools...and all of this is only made
possible by YOUR support.
To each of you that visited my page and made a donation, I
pray that you are blessed with more... you contributed to raising over £20,000
& I honestly can't thank you enough.
But there is so much work for us still to do...Syria has
been liberated from Assad's brutal regime but the road ahead is no doubt
complex and healing will take time.
God willing, I shall be visiting Syria again in a few weeks’
time with my GRT sisters and look forward to providing you updates on the
various projects. Your continued support is much appreciated.
