Throughout my Aalimah journey, an important message that has found a place in my heart is that Islam is not just a religion rather it is a way to live our lives.
A significant teaching which I hold dear, is that we as muslims have the responsibility to care for our fellow brothers and sisters across the globe. It is our duty to provide for them with what the Almighty has bestowed upon us through the tenderness of our hearts. In Tirmdhi Sharif, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) says “Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.”
How beautiful is giving charity, Subhanallah!
Not only does it benefit those who are less fortunate than us but it provides us with a means of protection in this dunya from its evils.
I am evermore aware of the plight of our brothers and sisters in Islam, through donating to causes that are important to me, I am able to keep myself grounded and grateful for all the little and big opportunities I have been provided with throughout my life so far, Allhamdullilah.
