Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

We are excited to share a very special initiative with you—one that holds both immense reward and urgent importance. The Sunnah Hiking Group is partnering with Global Relief Trust (GRT) to raise funds for a life-saving cause, and we would love for you to be a part of it, Insha’Allah.

"The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever "

Prophet Muhammad

Climbing for a Cause: Ben Nevis Charity Hike

On 26th July 2025, the Sunnah Hiking Group will be taking on the challenge of hiking Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK, to raise funds for the Intensive Care Unit at Al-Mudaffar Hospital in Yemen.

Our Mission: Lifesaving Care in Yemen

Our goal is to help establish a fully-equipped Critical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Al-Mudaffar Hospital, which will serve the regions of Ta’iz and Al-Hudaydah. This ICU will:

  • Provide life-saving treatment for the critically ill
  • Support emergency care
  • Improve long-term health outcomes for vulnerable populations
  • Involve procurement, installation, and maintenance of vital medical equipment
  • Coordinate with local authorities and healthcare providers
  • Ensure the highest standards of medical care and safety through rigorous quality assurance

Why Yemen?

Yemen remains one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises. After years of conflict, the healthcare system is on the verge of collapse. The facts are heartbreaking:

  • Over 13 million children urgently need humanitarian aid
  • More than 3 million children are internally displaced
  • Access to clean water and medical care is dangerously limited
  • Malnutrition and preventable diseases are claiming countless lives

Your Donations Make a Difference

The Prophet ’s Love for the People of Yemen

“When the people of Yemen come to you with their women carrying children on their shoulders, know that they are from me and I am from them.”
“Where are my companions who are from me and I from them? I will enter Paradise, and they will enter with me.”
Prophet Muhammad
