🕌 Build a Masjid in Uganda – A Bond of Brotherhood Project

A Brotherhood that builds beyond itself.

A Masjid That Will Serve Generations

This fundraising campaign supports the construction of a masjid in Uganda, where access to places of worship is limited and Muslim communities rely on small, shared spaces for their daily prayers, Qur’an learning, and community life.

The minimum cost to build a small masjid is £8,000.

The more we raise, the larger and more beneficial the masjid will be, allowing us to better serve the needs of the local community, in shā’ Allah.

🤍 Why This Project Exists

This masjid is being funded through a collective effort inspired by the Bond of Brotherhood Retreat — a gathering focused on unity, faith, and turning good intentions into lasting action.

Those who attended the retreat are fundraising on behalf of this project, inviting others to share in a long-term, life-changing reward.

🌱 A True Sadaqah Jāriyah

A masjid is not just a building — it is a living source of reward.

Every Salah prayed within it.

Every verse of Qur’an recited.

Every child who learns Islam inside its walls.

All of this continues to benefit those who contributed, even after they have passed away.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

> “When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.”

(Sahih Muslim)

This masjid represents ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jāriyah) in its purest form.

🕌 What Your Donation Helps Build

Depending on the total funds raised, your donation may contribute towards:

Construction of the masjid structure

A safe and dignified prayer space

Space for Qur’an learning and teaching

A facility that serves the community five times a day

Every contribution — large or small — plays a part.
