Over 1,400 years ago, on the 17th of Ramadan, the pivotal
Battle of Badr occurred. The bravery and sacrifice of 313 noble companions
changed the course of history, setting the foundation for Islam’s spread and
golden era.
This Ramadan, as a sadaqah jaariyah (ongoing charity), we
are making the intention to combat poverty and provide hot meals to those in
need around the world in the name of the participants of Badr.
For just £400, you can provide a nourishing, healthy meal
to an entire community, Insha’Allah.
Please consider donating any amount you can and leave a
lasting legacy this Ramadan.
Global Relief Trust is committed to providing aid in the
country or programme that you select. In the event we complete the project or
programme, exceed the required target, or are denied access or unable to
deliver aid to a particular country for reasons beyond our control, Global
Relief Trust reserves the right to reallocate your donation to another project
or programme where it is needed most.
