Bangladesh Street Children Appeal

More than 3.4 million children in Bangladesh are living on the streets with no shelter, education or protection. Every day, they face hunger, violence and exploitation.

Vulnerable children end up being trafficked, abused - mentally, physically and sexually. These children are forced to survive in conditions no child should ever experience.

In Ramadan 2026, GRT launches a long-term mission to rescue street children and rebuild their futures, by establishing a safe-haven in Sylhet, Bangladesh.

Your donations will help fund:

£250: Lay the first brick

One palette of bricks. This will help build the very foundation upon which bedrooms, classrooms and futures will stand. Lay the foundation.

£500: Secure their future ground

5 square metres of land. It may seem small but for a child with nothing – it’s a lifetime of impact. This secures protected land, where vulnerable children will live, study and grow in safety. It secures the land for a purpose-built institute, where life is transformational for generations to come.

£1000: Builds a room of safety

Towards bedrooms and classrooms. A bed instead of a pavement. A classroom instead of the streets. It’s four walls, but a permanent room inside which young girls and boys can be children again. In bedrooms where they can finally dream and in classrooms where their dreams become realities.

£5000: Become a Founder Member (personalised plaque for ‘Lifetime supporters’ wall) Honour up to 5 family members.

Ultimate legacy. As a £5000 Founder Member, your name and the names of up to five family members will be permanently honoured on our Lifetime Supporters Wall inside the Bangladesh Street Children Safe-Haven.

This is your opportunity to create a lasting Sadaqah Jariyah for those you love.

Long after we are gone, this institute will stand. And your family’s names will remain part of its foundation.

This is not simply giving, it is generational impact.

If your donation is Zakat, please specify in the comment section during the payment process.

Global Relief Trust is committed to providing aid in the country or programme that you select. In the event we complete the project or programme, exceed the required target, or are denied access or unable to deliver aid to a particular country for reasons beyond our control, Global Relief Trust reserves the right to reallocate your donation to another project or programme where it is needed most.

All donations not marked with instructions will go into our unrestricted pot and will be used where needed most.
