In Loving Memory of Suzan
A
nurse. A leader. A proud Yemeni woman. A sister to us all.
Suzan was just 21 years old when she
passed away, far too soon, and with so
much still to give. But in her short time on this earth, she lived with a
purpose and courage far beyond her years.
She was studying to be a nurse, already
working in our local hospital, caring for people with a tenderness and strength
that made her deeply loved by everyone around her. Patients, staff, friends,
and family. Suzan saw people. She
held them in their pain. She brought joy, laughter, and love into every space
she walked into.
And she never forgot where she came from.
Suzan was proudly Yemeni. She carried the
strength and resilience of her people in everything she did. She often spoke
about wanting to give back to her homeland, not out of charity, but out of deep
solidarity, love, and justice.
She saw her people’s struggle. She
carried it with her. And she was determined to do something about it.
Her first fundraising goal was just the
beginning. And we hit it - £1,500 for A
Better Tomorrow. But Suzan’s vision was never small. She wanted to build.
She wanted to heal. She wanted to return something meaningful to the place that
raised her.
And now, her work
continues.
My name is Hannah. Suzan called me her
big sister, and I carry that with honour.
And now, through the mercy of Allah, He has brought someone else into this
journey with me, our brother Zain, and together we are continuing Suzan’s work.
This isn’t just a fundraiser. This is Suzan’s legacy.
And we are just getting started.
Our New Goal: £27,500
We’re raising funds to deliver three life-changing projects in Suzan’s
name, in Yemen:
● A Water Well - £3,500
To bring safe, clean drinking water to an entire community
●
A Family Home.
- £4,000
To give a family safety, shelter & dignity.
● A Masjid (mosque) - £20,000
A place for prayer, peace and belonging, something that meant so much to Suzan.
Every donation honours a young woman who lived to serve, uplift and care.
Suzan may have passed away, but her
voice, her purpose, and her intention
that live on. In us. In you. In every act of giving done in her name.
We want to raise this as quickly as
possible, so families can begin to feel the impact of her legacy now. If you can give, please do. And if
you can’t, please share.
Let’s honour our sister.
Let’s honour her people.
Let’s honour Suzan.

love, grief and purpose
