Insha’Allah, with the permission of Allah ﷻ and your support, I have decided that I will be going on deployment this year with Global Relief Trust (GRT).

I frequently make duʿā that Allah uses me as a means of khayr. While we often donate online from a distance, this time I wanted to be on the ground — to serve first-hand, to deliver aid directly, and to stand with our brothers and sisters in their time of need.

This deployment will include supporting families affected by the ongoing hardship in Syria (Bilād al-Shām). The Prophet ﷺ spoke about the virtue of Shām and said: “Blessed is Shām…” — a land of immense barakah and significance in our tradition. Today, many there continue to face poverty, displacement, and severe hardship

In the event we complete the project or programme, exceed the required target, or are denied access or unable to deliver aid to a particular country for reasons beyond our control, Global Relief Trust reserves the right to reallocate your donation to another project or programme where it is needed most.
