One Weekend, Their Reality

Imagine having nowhere to sleep tonight. No warm bed. No food waiting for you. No one to turn to.

For millions of street children around the world, this isn’t a challenge-it’s their everyday reality.

After witnessing the heartbreaking conditions faced by vulnerable street children in Bangladesh firsthand, Kaswara, Omar and Ashfaq couldn’t simply walk away. They returned home determined to do something that would raise awareness, inspire compassion and help create lasting change.

From 5:00pm on Friday 7th August, they will spend 48 hours sleeping on the streets of Piccadilly Gardens. During this time, they will have no smartphones, no money and no support from family or friends. Their only belongings will be a sleeping bag, a toothbrush and toothpaste.

While we know we can never truly experience what homeless children endure every single day, this challenge is our attempt to gain a small glimpse into their reality and more importantly to give them a voice.

This isn’t just about sleeping rough. It’s about opening hearts, changing perspectives and reminding ourselves that every child deserves safety, dignity, education and hope.

Together, we’re raising funds to build a life-changing complex in Bangladesh that will provide vulnerable children with shelter, education, healthcare and the opportunity for a brighter future. The project will cost almost £1 million. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we’ve already raised over £250,000—but we still have around £750,000 to go.

Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to laying the foundations for the next generation and giving children the future they deserve.

Please support this challenge by donating, sharing this link with your family, friends and keeping us in your duas.

Together, we can turn one weekend of sacrifice into a lifetime of hope for children who need it most.
