Alhamdulilah our team will be travelling to Uganda this November to lay the foundations of a masjid and also take on a few projects which will include school, madrasah and livelihood self sustaining projects. At the same time we will deliver essential aid such as food packs, medical and hygiene kits to the rural area’s of Uganda including copies of Quran!
Uganda is a country that still finds itself in the grip of severe poverty and substantial challenges remain. The stark reality is that more than 2 in 5 Ugandans are surviving on less than $2 a day, highlighting the depth of poverty in the nation. The situation is dire, with over 18 million individuals—many of them children—living below the poverty line [World Bank, 2023].
This is a new initiative and country team GRT are working on and more that ever we need you dua’s and support!
