Dear family and friends,
Meet Zayd Samad, a vibrant and energetic 9-year-old boy who lights up every room he enters. He has been raised in a close-knit family, living with his loving uncle, aunt, their children and grandparents, to whom he shares a particularly special bond. Zayd has grown up surrounded by love, joy, and the laughter of his family. He is the rock of the family!
Recently, Zayd was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and his world—and ours—has been turned upside down. Today inshallah, Zayd begins the long, challenging journey of chemotherapy. As a family, we are leaning on one another our extended family and our faith to get through this difficult time.
The words from Surah Al-Baqarah (2:286) remind us:
“Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity.”
We pray for patience, strength, and healing for Zayd:
“O Allah, heal Your servant who is suffering from illness. Restore them to health and strength, and grant patience to their family and those who care for them. Ameen.”
While we hold tight to our faith and hope for Zayd’s recovery, we are reminded that many other children and families are battling similar challenges, often without the support, resources, or care they desperately need.
Today, in honor of Zayd’s fight, Let his journey inspire us to spread hope. Donate today and help the less fortunate.
May Allah bless you for your generosity and multiply your rewards. Please keep our Zayd and all children facing illness in your duas. Together, we can be a source of strength for families in their darkest hours.
