Lets Rebuild the Health System in Gaza!

A pioneering Life Saving Mission for Gaza, by Doctors of Rahman / Midland International Aid Trust (MIAT).

Doctors of Rahman Overview.

Doctors of Rahman is a group of Medical Surgeons who have experience of being deployed in Gaza and serving the people of Gaza.

Doctors of Rahman is committed to serving humanity through two critical initiatives:

supporting displaced medical students from Gaza to continue and complete their education at leading universities in Pakistan which is critical to the rebuilding of the health infrastructure in Gaza.  We also deploy medical and surgical teams to areas of need globally.

Alhumdulillah by the Grace of the Almighty, Doctors of Rahman have been able to secure placements for over 370 displaced Gazan Medical & Dental Students:

- 45 placed at leading South African Universities

- 10 in Norway

- 175 Students placed at leading Universities in Pakistan to complete their Medical Studies.

- Another 150 students have been identified,for whom places have been secured and we are in the process of placing at Universities in Pakistan, which will bring the total number of students in Pakistan to 325.

Alhumdulillah the Pakistani Authorities have facilitated the placement of these students waiving the University fees, many of whom are orphans or have lost their family members.  These displaced students have nobody to support them but the Ummah, having left Gaza with literally the ‘shirts on their backs’.

Doctors of Rahman is committed to supporting these students financially to meet their daily living costs.

- The cost of supporting each student is £3500 per annum to provide their basic necessities and provide a holistic package of support including an academic & mentorship program.

The hope is that once the students qualify, they will be able to return to Gaza and help rebuild the Healthcare infrastructure to deal with the devastating consequences of the suffering that has taken place and help serve those in need Inshallah.

This is a unique Zakat eligible project which can also be Sadqa- e-Jaariya, since not only are you helping those who have suffered from immeasurable loss and trauma, each qualified Doctor can see up to 10,000 patients annually, hence your donations will inshallah impact up to 10,000 lives per year.

We are also in the process of identifying needy Patients in Gaza who can be transferred to Pakistan to receive the medical treatment that they need.
